Fortress of Sacsayhuamán
Next, we visit the outskirts of the city to explore Sacsayhuamán, an impressive fortress perched above Cusco. Famous for its enormous stone blocks perfectly fitted together, this structure played a crucial role in defending the city. From here, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of Cusco.
Lunch in the Sacred Valley
After visiting Sacsayhuamán, we head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes.
Visit to Ollantaytambo
In the afternoon, we arrive at Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town. Here, we visit its impressive fortress, built on a mountainside with spectacular views of the valley. Known for its terraces, temples, and strategic military and religious significance during the Inca era, this site is a highlight of the day. After the visit, we spend the night at a hotel in Ollantaytambo.

Enjoy a 2-3 hour guided tour through the main areas of the Inca citadel, including the Temple of the Sun, the Main Plaza, and the Intihuatana. Learn about the fascinating history and spiritual significance of this sacred site.
