ITINERARY

Departure from Cusco

We depart early (7:00 a.m.) from Cusco in private transportation toward the community of Socma, located at 3,200 meters above sea level. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering panoramic views of the Sacred Valley.

Hike to Perolniyoc Waterfall

From Socma, we begin a moderate hike of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The trail, surrounded by towering mountains and Andean flora, provides breathtaking views of the valley and opportunities to spot local wildlife.

Arrival at Perolniyoc Waterfall

The Perolniyoc Waterfall, standing over 100 meters tall, is a stunning natural spectacle. You’ll have time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the refreshing breeze while being surrounded by the soothing sounds of the cascading water.

Visit to Raqaypata Ruins

From the waterfall, we continue to the Raqaypata ruins, located atop a mountain. This lesser-known archaeological site was used by the Incas as a ceremonial and strategic lookout point. The views from here are breathtaking, offering a unique blend of history and stunning landscapes.

Countryside Lunch

After visiting the ruins, we descend to Socma, where a countryside lunch awaits. You’ll enjoy typical Andean dishes prepared with local ingredients for an authentic culinary experience in a natural setting.

Return to Cusco

After lunch, we return to Cusco in private transportation, arriving between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.
